Born in Prescot, I was interested in storytelling from a young age when I started making short films with friends. As I got older, my interest led me to screenwriting, where I wrote feature film scripts and further short films that I also enjoyed acting in. Acting led me to community theatre, where I performed in a number of plays in and around Liverpool. It was during this time that I started writing my debut novel, A Single Source of Truth.
Bitten by the theatre bug, I wrote and directed my first stage play, Millionaires Anonymous, which was performed at the Unity Theatre and toured the North West. I then wrote Mummy’s Boy, a finalist for the Liverpool Hope Playwriting Prize, and later adapted into a short film (which you can watch here).
In 2019, my novel A Single Source of Truth was released on Amazon in paperback and eBook. In 2023, my short play ‘Christmas is for Kids’ was part of Stocking Fillers at the Liverpool Royal Court.
I live in Liverpool with my wife and two sons and work in IT. My next novel is finished and awaiting publication, and I’ve already begun writing my third. To be among the first to hear about their release, sign up to my mailing list.
